Various Driving Situations
16-level damping force adjustment (comp./rebound together) feature is applied to exhibit the vehicles' full potential, at various driving stage; on streets, winding roads and/or highways.
EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) Compatible
SUPER COMPACT is compatible with EDFC (sold separately), which enables in-car damping force adjustment. With EDFC installed, you can change the damping force level easily from the driver's seat, without having to open the hood or moving the rear seats, to meet various conditions/preferences, from street, highway to winding road.
Specifications
A.Threading Type Ride Height Adjustment System
Threading type system enables adjustment in millimeter increments. Adjustment
can be made within the range of about 20mm above or below from the standard
height (actual value may vary). H.A.S. is used where spring and shock absorber
are not integrated (non-coilover type), to enable adjustment by millimeters.
B.Spring Seat & Seat Lock
Specially designed of wrought Aluminum. Help keeping Adjust Wrench in place for
easy ride height adjustment.
C.2-Coat/1-Bake Powder Painting
After being sprayed with powder paint as the base coat, the second layer of
regular powder paint is applied. Then materials/parts are baked in a furnace.
This procedure enables the painting to be unexceptionally superior in corrosion
resistance.
D.Twin-Tube Structure
Twin-tube structure is adopted for high durability and securing sufficient
stroke. Upsizing oil capacity, shell case and piston diameter provides superb
damping force characteristics. Newly designed piston valve and base valve
prevent noise such as swishing sound, to bring sophisticated ride performance.
E.Upper Mount
Reinforced rubber upper mount is designed for each vehicle applications, for
realization of direct driving feel and handling incomparable with the original
one, while still maintaining comfort and calmness. (OE mount is used for some
models, if reinforced rubber mount is not available.)
F.16-level Damping Force Adjustment Feature (Compression & Rebound Together)
Equipped with 16-level separate adjustment feature for finer setting
capabilities, to meet wide varieties of conditions, speeds, etc. Specially
designed needle valve controls damping force linearly at all level. EDFC
compatible (except some models).
