BASIC-K Damper is enjoying great popularity since its release on March 1st, however, extra caution needs to be taken when installing onto the popular Wagon R(MC22S & MH21S) and Lapin(HE21S), Compatibility and / or installation procedure varies depending on the year of manufacture and / or vehicle ID number due to minor modifications done to shock absorber, even with the same chassis code.

For Wagon R(MC22S), compatible shock absorber for model 1 thru 4 differ from model 5 & 6. Also, warranty is void for later model 4 vehicles that have different brake brackets, because the brake hose cannot be anchored. For Wagon R (MH21S), compatible shock absorber are model 3 & 4. For Lapin(HE21S), installation procedures for model 1 and 3 thru 5 differ from model 2.
