| From January 1st 2009 HANS will be mandatory when participating in International rally events. |

Wearing a head restraint approved by the FIA will be mandatory
for all drivers and co-drivers in international events as follows:
- all FIA championships, trophies, cups and challenges: from 1 January 2008*;
- in all events entered on the FIA International Sporting Calendar: from 1 January 2009*. |

| JAF Regulation on Helmets |
Peltor G7, G77,G78 & G90 conform to BSI (British Standards Institution) standard and meet the requirements set under FIA Int’l Sporting Code Appendix L, thus can be used for FIA approved Int’l competitions (incl. WRC) and JAF approved domestic competitions.
Peltor G6 & G10 conform to SIS standards but are not yet approved by JAF. Though, JAF has postured that SIS approved helmets can be used in domestic competitions, such as Gymkhana and/or Dirt Trial.

| Concept |
Helmet is made of Kevlar mix shell and Nomex inner. Ultra lightweight structure; G6d only weighs 900g. Huge advantage for drivers to sustain the concentration especially in long races.
Highly reliable intercom system, which could only be made possible by PELTOR that also specializes in military communication equipment, clearly delivers human voices even under extremely noisy environment. Its ambient noise-compensated microphone can transmit, without disruption, the conversation between the driver and the co-driver even when the noise level exceeds 115dB. Also, built-in ear-muffs shut out any undesired noise. This is the helmet born for competitions.
