The 2010 Chinese Rally Championship (CRC) was held from March 13^th to 15^th in China’s northern area of Mohe. This was the first snow rally for the CRC and the extreme conditions saw the temperatures drop to as low as -40℃.

 

Last season TEIN supported the Wan Yu team however from this year the KST Team has joined the TEIN support line up. Furthermore, P.Flodin who won the first round of the P-WRC season earlier this year, is also taking part in the CRC driving for the Honghe Team also supported by TEIN. Nearly all the top drivers in the CRC are now using TEIN this season!

 

In both DAY 1 and DAY 2, nearly all drivers were bewildered by the snow rally, and it was P.Flodin who dominated the scene by setting the fastest times in all stages and taking the magnificent win. Brothers M.Higgins from the KST team and D.Higgins from the Wan Yu team both drove consistently in the rally, though with little experience in snow conditions, they managed to finish in 3^rd and 4^th places respectively.

 

8 out of the top 10 places were all using TEIN dampers making this a great feat for TEIN to dominate the first round of the CRC. Year by year TEIN users grow, and the future of the CRC will hopefully continue to see TEIN supported teams taking part.

 

The next round of the CRC will be a gravel rally held from May 14^th to 16^th in Nanjing so stay tuned for more exciting action from all TEIN users!
