Rd.3 of China Rally Championship was held between August 28th and 30th in Fugang, Guangdong. TEIN will be supporting a new team and a driver starting from this round, and we will be pairing up with Wan Yu Rally Team and David Higgins. On the other hand, Mark Higgins, an older brother of D.Higgins will be joining TEAM KST, so two brothers will be competing on the same ground to aim for the top podium.

 

DAY1

The day started off with Super Special Stage, and D.Higgins shows his talent by finishing in 1st place. He sets fastest time from SS1 to SS7, and he stretches his lead by over a minute from M.Higgins who is placing 2nd. He was unable to set fastest time in SS8, but he ends DAY1 on top of the standings.

 

DAY2

D.Higgins maintains his momentum from DAY1, gaining over a minute lead between the rest of the crowd and finishes 1st to take the win. Liu Cao Dong finishes highest among the domestic contenders by maintaining steady pace throughout the event, and finishes 5th overall.

 

Rd.4 will be held in Longyou, Zhejiang between November 13th and 15th. Expect for more high speed action from Wan Yu Rally Team and TYPE Gr.N damper!
