After approximately a 2 month break, the 6^th round of the 2008 Super Taikyu series was held at Sportsland Sugo, filled with the autumn season colors.

During the A drivers qualifying rounds, the #39 TEIN supported car in ST3 set the top time, while the #112 car qualified in 2^nd position. While in the B driver's session, the #14 car came out of the blue to set the top time, but with the times combined from both sessions, the #39 car grabbed pole position.

 

From the start through to the mid stages of the race, #39 pole position starter dominated the race. The #14 car followed closely throughout the race but because of its rotary engine, it needed to refuel earlier than the other cars and fell down the order.

 

When the #39 car made its pit stop, the #333 car took the top position. But the #39 car was not about to give in, and drove hard right until the end to retake the top position and grab its first win of the season!! The first half of the season was filled with trouble for the #333 car, but with its 2^nd place finish in the last round and the win this round, the team was looking to finish the season on a high note.

 

With the series heading in to its final round at Twin Ring Motegi, the #333 car has already being awarded the 2008 series championship, but we all look forward to the performance of the #39 car in the final race.
